These are just some ears I pulled off a google image start to get this blog started. What can be said about the ear? Plenty I'm sure, but I will start by saying that the ear is not the most important element in drawing a good likeness. It is more of a decoration that sits off to the side of the face. It is often hidden by hair. Sometimes the lobe is attached. Sometimes there's a dangling lobe. A realistic ear is very difficult to draw without reference. That's about all for now.
